Restaurant at 38
Eating with us is a fantastic dining experience, we have a cosy restaurant upstairs where you can delight in our a la carte menu or more classic all day menu which can also be eaten in our downstairs bar.
Pub at 38
The Plough first opened on this site in 1656. Our historic city centre pub serves traditional real ales and craft beer. We have a huge selection of gins, vodkas and whisky and a comprehensive wine list.
Our all day menu is available both in our ground floor pub and upstairs restaurant.
This is the first restaurant i visited in oxford and it was delicious!! I went with the 3 course and didn’t regret it one bit. From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, all of it was made to perfection. the food was clearly fresh and beautiful. I felt very satisfied and have a feeling i’ll be eating here again while I’m in oxford.
A very lovely place for a coffee and a chat. Staff are very helpful and friendly, will definitely go back again 😊 👍.
Great drinks at the bar! Our bartender was amazing and told us about the Open Doors Weekend and TOTALLY MADE OUR STAY! Loved getting an inside look at the Oxford Colleges! Such a wonderful experience!
