The Malting Hall Restaurant is perfect for all manner of events and parties. Seated or standing with table service, buffet or canapes. We cater for professional networking, birthday parties of all ages and family occasions such as mothers’ day, fathers’ day and valentines. Not to forget Christmas 2020. Seated circa 70, Standing circa 100.
We happen to think our Sunday Roast is amongst the very best in Oxford. Our meat is locally reared, our vegetables are locally grown and we cater for meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans alike. You will be blown away by the intense flavours, our gravy is legendary.
MEET OUR CHEF
Meet Jan our Head Chef, Jan has worked with some of the country’s finest chefs during his time at The Fat Duck Group, Gilbey’s and The Chequers Inn, Weston Turville. Jan has now taken on the challenge for bringing his style of contemporary cooking to Oxford, harnessing the finest local ingredients to bring classic dishes bang up to date.
Our food dishes are prepared with love and care, we insist on colour, quality and presentation, Michelin Star quality at High Street prices, some of the best dishes you will eat in Oxford.
